FAQ

The system is developed in such a way that it can be used for several applications. Every application has his own return on investment.
In the RoRo market shipping owners are using the system to reduce the operational costs. During project cargoes, tows and other applications it is used as a prevention tool. Safety above all!

One of the good things of the Siri Marine Motion Monitoring equipment is the fact that it is a stand alone setup. The only thing we need from the vessel is power supply.

The sensor measures the 6 degrees of freedom, 3 linear accelerations and 3 rotational accelerations. From these values an exact view of the movements of the vessel can be obtained.

Engineers with a maritime background will receive the data from the vessel.
This data will be analyzed and implemented in reports which are custom made for our customers.

NO! As from our believe of good seamanship it is the responsibility of the officer on duty to use the STA ( See, Think, Act ) Our system is a decision support tool and will tell you what is actually going on with your vessel or cargo. We predict a safer transport not a safer movement.

We are proud to announce that our sensor is the only sensor approved for maritime purposes in relation with exact values.

Our systems can be rented or purchased. For short term projects such as salvage operations or towage renting is the best option. If you want to start with the weather dependent lashing procedures the best thing is to purchase a system. For more information about renting or purchasing possibilities contact us!
