Weather Dependent Lashing started on mv Mazarine

Siri Marine was contracted by Cobelfret Ferries to perform vessel motion measurements on board of m.v Mazarine and sea state measurements during voyages between Zeebrugge and Dublin from November 2009 and onwards.

The purpose of the project is to measure the maximum motions and accelerations that occur on board the MV Mazarine in various sea states. The measurements can then be used to determine the forces that occur on the cargo (trucks/trailers and cassettes) and to verify the method of lashing, used on board. The result of the project shall be the delivery of fully operational Weather Dependent Lashing procedures.
