Container vessel ‘MOL Discovery’ LOA of 253 metres, 40499 DWT, ran aground near Ras Shukheir, Egypt. SMIT Salvage was awarded the contract as a co-salvor on a LOF 2000 form. Immediately salvage teams from Singapore and The Netherlands were mobilised.
